The current selection includes 14-ounce polyester commercial carpet in several colors. That description is a starting point. Review the full construction and the manufacturer’s approval for the actual space, especially where rolling chairs, equipment or frequent cleaning are involved.
- Traffic and use
- Describe who uses the space and how: a private office has different demands from a busy entrance or wheeled work area. Request the product’s intended-use documentation and relevant project specifications before selecting.
- Face weight
- A 14-ounce face-weight label describes yarn weight per square yard. It is not the backing weight and does not, by itself, establish durability or a commercial performance class.
- Construction and appearance
- Pile height, density and loop or cut construction affect the finished appearance. Compare full samples in the lighting of the space and consider how color and pattern work with the maintenance routine.
- Backing and installation
- Identify the backing and approved installation system. Adhesive, cushion and substrate preparation must work together. Do not substitute a residential pad or a general-purpose glue without checking compatibility.
- Roll width and cut plan
- Plan seam locations and required cut lengths before ordering. A square-yard availability total does not guarantee one continuous piece of the dimensions your job needs.
- Repeat orders and maintenance
- For phased work, confirm dye lot, quantity and whether matching material can be replenished. Keep the product identification and care instructions with your project records.

For an office carpet project in Las Vegas, identify desks, rolling chairs, reception areas, corridors and entrances on the floor plan. Discuss those uses with the installer and check the proposed carpet’s application requirements. One quiet private office and an active reception area may call for different selection priorities.
A commercial carpet supplier needs more than a room total to help with an order. Bring the specified product or performance requirements, usable roll lengths, planned seams and the schedule for each phase. Keep the approved color and product reference with the purchase records so later orders can be checked against the original material.
Plan maintenance access and work sequencing before material arrives. Decide how furniture will move, when the space can be closed and what documents the property manager requires. Confirm these arrangements with the parties doing the work; material availability alone does not establish an installation date.

Is commercial carpet the same as event carpet?
No. Permanent business interiors and temporary event installations have different requirements. Use the event carpet page for a trade-show or display project.
Does the stock total include installation waste?
No. Availability describes material quantity, not the amount left after cuts, pattern matching or seam planning.
Can I reserve material for a later phase?
Contact the showroom to discuss the quantity and timing. Do not assume matching stock will remain available for a future phase.
